Orient keen to keep Minton
Leyton Orient have offered Jeff Minton a two-year extension on his contract.

The 28-year-old midfielder has impressed since joining on a free transfer from Rotherham last summer.

He is out of contract at the end of the season, but is part of O's boss Paul Brush's plans for next year.

And Hackney-born Minton, who began his career with Tottenham, is keen to stay at Brisbane Road.

He told the club's official website: "I get on really well with the players here and I hope I can sign soon.

"I think I've been playing well and the fans have taken to me, but there's obviously room for improvement on a personal and collective level.

"We've been inconsistent but there is a lot of quality and I feel we can do a lot better next season."
