Leicester City captain Andy King wants to sign a new contract but says that nothing will be sorted until he returns from international duty with Wales.

King, 22, who only signed a four-year deal last summer, has now been offered a new contract at the Walkers Stadium.

But he is preparing to face England in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier.

"I'm away and that's where my concentration will be focused but I'm happy here and I'd like to stay," the midfielder told BBC Radio Leicester.

"I enjoy my football here. I've been here so long and I feel at home."

Foxes youth team product King has become a key player since becoming a regular in the side during Nigel Pearson's tenure.

He has played a total of 158 games since making his debut against Wolves in October 2007.
