Leicester City club captain Stephen Clemence has announced his retirement from football because of a longstanding heel injury.
The 32-year-old has not played for the Foxes since March 2008, in their 1-0 win against Scunthorpe.
The midfielder has made 34 appearances for the club.
Clemence, the son of former England goalkeeper Ray, started his career at Tottenham before signing for Birmingham City in 2003.
He spent five years at St Andrews and made 135 appearances for the Midlands club but made the switch to Leicester in 2007.
