Martin eyes permanent Foxes move

David Martin
Martin has kept 13 clean sheets for Leicester

Leicester City on-loan goalkeeper David Martin says he wants a permanent move to the Walkers Stadium.

The 23-year-old, who arrived at the Foxes in August, is on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.

He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I'd love to stay at Leicester, it's a great club - when we get promoted if I could play in the Championship it would be good."

Martin has kept 13 clean sheets in 26 appearances for Leicester during his loan spell.

The Foxes have a 10-point lead at the top of League One.

Nigel Pearson's side travel to Northampton on Saturday.
