Aldridge steps down as Foxes CEO

Milan Mandaric
Mandaric says Aldridge will remain on friendly terms with the club

Leicester City chief executive Paul Aldridge has left the club and been replaced by former Southampton chief executive Lee Hoos.

Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric insisted the move was entirely without acrimony.

"Paul has done tremendously," he told BBC Radio Leicester. "He'll still help us when we need it, but he's going forward with a new job.

"The most important thing is we that have a very capable chief executive and that continues without interruption."

He added: "Lee Hoos has tremendous experience. He only worked at two places in the last 11 years. He was at Fulham for eight years, and then at Southampton, so he's got proper experience at both a Premiership and Championship club.

"He was available due to the changes at Southampton."
