Leicester City will allow young striker Eric Odhiambo to join SPL side Dundee United on loan for the rest of the season from the start of the New Year.
The 18-year-old has not made his league debut for the Foxes yet, but boss Ian Holloway still sees his future at City.
"Eric is an exciting young fella. He's not somebody I want to lose," Holloway said.
"I am looking forward to the time when he looks ready and feels ready to score some goals for us."
Odhiambo has already spent time on loan this season, making five appearances for League One outfit Southend during September 2007.
