Leeds snap up Australian
Jacob Burns
Jacob Burns could be another Leeds sensation
Leeds United have signed 22-year-old midfielder Jacob Burns from Australian club Parramatta Power for 250,000.

Burns, who recently declined to be put on standby for Australia's Olympic squad, has been given the number 25 shirt and is included in Leeds' Champions League squad.

He will link up with three other Australians at Leeds: Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and reserve keeper Danny Milosevic.

Meanwhile, reserve defender Kevin Evans, 19, has been released by Leeds.

The Welshman has agreed to sign for Cardiff City where he has been training since being told there was no future for him at Elland Road.
