Leeds striker Tore Andre Flo is set for a spell of up to eight weeks on the sidelines after having surgery on a long-standing foot injury.
The 34-year-old has struggled to shake off the problem which he first sustained last season.
Flo had made a surprise return to the first-team last week when he came on as a substitute against Yeovil.
Boss Dennis Wise told the club website: "It's been a difficult time for him but hopefully the operation will help."
