Referee McDermid sent Wise and two of his players off at Priestfield
|
Referee Danny McDermid has been cleared of using foul and/or abusive language towards Leeds manager Dennis Wise during a 1-1 draw at Gillingham.
Wise alleged that McDermid swore at him at the end of the game on 29 September and he was charged by the Football Association but denied any wrong-doing.
And the FA's disciplinary committee ruled the charge was not proven.
Wise got a two-match touchline ban, a suspended one-match ban and £5,000 fine for being guilty of the same offence.

Wise was sent to the stands at half-time, while strikers Tresor Kandol and Jermaine Beckford were red-carded, and three other Leeds players booked.
Leeds had won their first seven games of the season before Cox's last-minute goal for the home side ended their 100% start.
