Leeds United midfielder Steve Stone has retired after his Elland Road contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 35-year-old midfielder made only 15 appearances for Leeds after arriving in the summer of 2005 as he suffered a series of injuries.
The former England international told BBC Radio Leeds: "It's an amicable settlement and I'm looking forward to concentrating on my media interests."
Stone was capped nine times for England during a career that spanned 17 years.
The midfielder played more than 200 times for Nottingham Forest after making his debut in 1989.
He joined Aston Villa in a £5.5m move in 1999, before signing for Portsmouth in 2002.
