Charlton goalkeeper Stephan Andersen will be staying with the club after his loan move to Leeds fell through.
Andersen has made 18 appearances for the Addicks
The 24-year-old Denmark international had been unable to force his way into the first-team plans of new Addicks manager Iain Dowie.
A move to the Coca-Cola Championship club had been agreed and was announced by Charlton on deadline day.
But after a disagreement over a recall clause, Leeds decided to extend the loan stay of Tony Warner instead.
Charlton's general manager Andrew Mills said: "It looked as though the deal was done.
"But Leeds were uncomfortable with the recall clause we were keen to implement so, regrettably, it did not happen.
"Stephan is obviously disappointed but he has been very professional about it and is prepared to fight for his place here."
