Leeds appoint Ellis

Ellis is vastly experienced

Leeds United have unveiled Sam Ellis as their new assistant manager.

Ellis was part of Stan Ternent's management team at Burnley until the end of last season and has previously been in charge at Blackpool and Bury.

"Sam is very experienced at First Division level which is just what we need at this club," said manager Kevin Blackwell.

"He will be a valuable asset as we try and get out of this division as quickly as possible."
