GRAY'S THOUGHTS ON MATCH
|
Leeds boss Eddie Gray says the belief in his relegation-battling side is growing after they recovered from going behind to draw with Liverpool.
He said: "The boys are performing well and we came back from a goal down which shows there's more belief among the players that we can win matches.
"It's important to us to keep the front two of Mark Viduka and Alan Smith fit.
"It gives the boys inspiration when they see them up there because they know then they have a chance."
He added: "I was pleased with Mark's contribution, while Alan did well to play because he has not trained all week.
"He picked up a bad leg injury against Manchester United last week and this was his first football since then.
"He got a knock towards the end and that's why he had to come off, but he should be okay for our next match in a couple of weeks."
