Jefferies upbeat despite defeat

Jefferies said Kilmarnock deserved something against Hibs

Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies said he was happy with his side's performance despite losing 2-0 against Hibs at Easter Road.

"That's the best I've seen them play away from home in a long time," Jefferies told BBC Sport.

"We were up for it from the start, we were winning tackles and didn't let Hibs dominate us.

"Then we found ourselves one down in a game where we should've been ahead. We don't have a cutting edge up front."
