Jefferies conceded that Motherwell had more firepower

Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies felt his side could have taken something from the 1-0 defeat to Motherwell.
A deflected strike from Phil O'Donnell separated the sides at Rugby Park.
"I don't think today's result was about lack of effort, it was a very
tight first half," Jefferies said, "but their forwards were better than ours.
"They looked more dangerous than us although there was very little in it, but to lose the goal in the manner that we did was very unfortunate."
"I was behind the shot and it was not going anywhere near the goal until it took the
deflection.
"That meant we had to change and chase things a wee bit and that's when
Motherwell became dangerous on the break, as they were all afternoon."
