Kilmarnock assistant manager Billy Brown was delighted to escape with a 2-2 draw at home to Inverness due to the injury crisis at Rugby Park.
"I thought we equipped ourselves quite well, but Inverness were the better of the two sides," said Brown.
"We would have taken a point before kick off after all that's happened this week, especially against a team going as well as Caley Thistle.
"But, once we get our big guns back, you'll see what we can produce then."
Kilmarnock had been unable to find enough fit players to fill their substitutes' bench.
And Brown was hopeful that the situation would improve during the break for international matches next weekend.
"We hope to get a few guys back on Friday," he said.
"But Iain Flannigan for his debut and Craig Bryson for his SPL debut did very well and that bodes well for the future."
