Kilmarnock striker Steven Naismith has been named Bank of Scotland player of the month.
Steven Naismith has scored 12 goals this season
The 19-year-old, who has already won the young player award twice this season, said: "When I got the phone call, I thought they'd made a mistake.
"At the start of the month, I was banned for the Dunfermline game. I just hoped to be selected the next week.
"Thankfully I was and I have scored a few goals recently so that has probably
helped my case."
Naismith, who recently signed a contract extension which will keep him at Rugby Park until 2010, scored three goals in March - taking his season's tally to 12.
