Greek midfielder Giorgos Fotakis, 23, has joined Kilmarnock until the end of the season after leaving Aigaleo.
Killie boss Jim Jefferies said: "He's a wee bit away from the first team and there are other people ahead of him.
"But I thought I would give him a chance. He's not going to cost me a lot of money and if he does get into the first team it will be a bonus."
Jefferies is also hoping to bring Australian defender Lindsay Wilson from PSV Eindhoven to Rugby Park.
The 26-year-old right-back has spent the last four years in Holland but has not played a first-team game.
"I will be chatting with him and his agent to find out what the scenario is," said Jefferies.
"Can I get him on loan? Can I get him until the end of the season? Is he going to leave PSV and want a longer-term deal?
"All these things have still to be discussed."
