Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies insisted his side were good value for the three points against Dundee United.
He said: "On outfield play I felt we had the best chances. Dundee United were always going to be dangerous.
"They've got some good headers of the ball in guys like David McCracken, Jim McIntyre and Lee Miller.
"But to be fair, young (Steven) Naismith has been outstanding and was man-of-the-match easily but he knows he should have put us 2-0 up early on."
