Mark Yates is confident his side has what it takes to beat Fleetwood
Kidderminster Harriers boss Mark Yates insists that his team will not take Fleetwood Town 'lightly' in Saturday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round clash.
"It looks like they're a club on the up," he said. "It is probably one of the toughest games of the round.
"We've been impressing on the players that they can't take Fleetwood likely and we won't be taking them lightly."
Harriers are again without striker Robbie Matthews who serves the second game of his three-match suspension.
There is a chance that the versatile Chris McPhee might recover from his ankle injury, but it will depend on how he reacts to treatment.
After winning 5-1 at King's Lynn at this stage a year ago, Harriers went on to beat Cambridge United and Curzon Ashton at home to set up a third round trip to Coventry.
And Harriers can at least feel comforted by the fact that they are again at Aggborough, as they bid to maintain a record that has seen them fail to make the Cup first round proper only once in 10 seasons.
"We are glad we are at home," added Yates. "But, if we play as we have been playing lately we have a chance of progressing.
"Our philosophy doesn't change from week to week. And we've just really tried to ram that home with the players this week.
"We've got to make sure our attitude and our performance are spot on.
"Somebody asked me in the week if the players realise how important it is to have a cup run and of course they do.
"But, when they turn up on Saturday, they don't go out there thinking about the money the club can win as they have got to focus on the game.
"Financially at the moment everybody needs more funds and we are no different to anyone else.
"If we progress and have a decent cup run the money will come in very handy."
