Harriers happy with cup draw
Jon Macken in action for Preston
Preston reached the First Division Play-Off final
Kidderminster are celebrating a plum draw in the Worthington Cup after being paired with Division One Play-Off finalists Preston.

"With the teams that are in the competition we couldn't have got a bigger draw," said Harriers spokesman Steve Thomas.

You never know - there is the chance of a giant-killing

"They were so close to getting into the Premiership and could have been playing Manchester United in a few weeks.

"We drew Walsall last year in our first year in the competition and it was a good local derby, so to get Preston this year with all of their history is tremendous.

"You never know now that the games are only one leg. We could be on form and they may have an off-day, so there is the chance of a giant-killing.

"It will give the town a boost."
