Kettering Town full-back Marcus Kelly has won the Supporters' Player of the Year 2010/11 award.

The 25-year-old also picked up the vice-president's award and the club's community award with Moses Ashikodi.

Kelly told BBC Radio Northampton: "It's nice to know people appreciate what I've done this season.

"Kettering is where I was born, it's a good club, the support is great and I've really enjoyed it. As a whole, we've done pretty well."

The former Rushden & Diamonds and Oxford United winger was adapted to a left-back under manager Marcus Law.

"[That was] massive for me and it could change my career," said Kelly.

"I never thought I'd go to left-back. A few years ago, I was probably a bit too small but it could be my spot."

Kelly has paid tribute to his manager for guiding the club to mid-table safety in the Blue Square Bet Premier season.

"We've had some hard times in January and before, and Marcus Law has done tremendously well to sort things out.

"He's a terrific manager. I rate him very highly [amongst] the managers I've had. I'm sure he'll have a very good career."

The Players' Player of the Year was top goalscorer Jean-Paul Marna.
