Kettering Town sign Willy Gueret and Adam Cunnington

Kettering Town have signed MK Dons goalkeeper Willy Gueret on a free transfer and Solihull Moors forward Adam Cunnington for an undisclosed fee.

Gueret, 37, has joined until the end of the season, while Cunnington, 23, has signed for 18 months.

Manager Marcus Law told BBC Radio Northampton: "Unfortunately, Mark Halstead has picked up a knee injury.

"We thought an experienced keeper would be good for us. We are building a relationship with MK Dons."

Gueret joined MK Dons from Swansea City, and went on to make 153 appearances for the club.

He was the Dons' player of the season in 2007/08, after a penalty save in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

I'm more than happy with the group we've got

Cunnington, who scored 12 goals for Blue Square Bet North side Solihull Moors this season, was with Law at Barwell FC.

Meanwhile, centre-back Ashley Westwood has left Kettering Town by mutual consent.

"He has had an agreement with the chairman and he will look elsewhere," added Law.

"I'm sure he'll find himself a club. We're down to two centre-backs now, but there's one or two players who could do a job there if required, and I'm more than happy with the group we've got."
