Kettering Town sign ex-Barnet striker Elliott Charles

Charles scored for Barnet against Arsenal in pre-season

Kettering Town have signed former Barnet striker Elliott Charles until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old was released last month after loan spells at Hemel Hempstead, Lewes, Ebbsfleet and Havant.

Poppies manager Lee Harper told BBC Radio Northampton: "There will be opportunities for him.

"He's a big man - 6ft 2in. We've missed that a little bit, to give us a target. We don't want to play long all time but there's times when you've got to."
