"You want to be involved but it's all about hard work isn't it?"
Healy's career in England has stuttered since a series of injuries which began in 2003.
He was out of action for 18 months after breaking his leg twice and suffering knee cartilage damage.
A spell with Barnsley in 2006 saw him make just two starts and eventually he headed back to his homeland to play for Cork.
He returned to the Championship with Ipswich 18 months ago but once again failed to find his feet.
But he was selected to play in the 7-0 FA Cup defeat by Chelsea on Sunday and followed that up with an impressive performance in Wednesday's 1-0 League Cup victory over Arsenal.
And while the former Celtic man enjoyed that first leg semi-final win over the Gunners, he insists the weekend clash with Millwall is the main focus.
"You have to concentrate on the next game. We'll just go into the game very focused on it," he said.
"I think everyone thought before the game Arsenal were going to do us over, especially after getting beat 7-0 by Chelsea.
"But we proved a few people wrong and now we go to the Emirates with a one-goal lead."
