Buck stops with me insists Keane

Roy Keane
Ipswich won their first two matches under Keane last season

Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane says he accepts ultimate responsibility for their position at the foot of the Championship table.

His side have failed to win any of their 13 league games so far and lie three points from safety.

But Keane insists he does not fear for his future at Portman Road.

The Ipswich boss told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I've never been fearful and always been fair enough to say the buck stops with the manager."

Keane added: "I'm enjoying the job, I said when I took the job I felt proud and honoured to be Ipswich manager and that's still the case."

His side's next game sees them travel to fellow strugglers Plymouth on Saturday.

"I'll prepare as well as I can for Saturday's game and hopefully things will turn and we'll look back in a few years time and say, listen we got through it," said Keane.
