Magilton wants Ipswich to continue producing players from their academy
Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has said 15-year-old striker Connor Wickham is in line for a call-up to his first-team squad over the Christmas period.
He told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He is an outstanding individual and he is making massive strides.
"I think he's going to be a big, big player for this football club and he's not far away."
Wickham is an England Under-16 international and scored in the recent Victory Shield win over Scotland.
Ipswich's current youngest ever player is Jason Dozzell who made his debut in February 1984 at the age of just 16 years and 57 days.
