Ipswich Town winger Jaime Peters came on as an 80th-minute substitute as Canada were beaten 3-2 by Brazil in Seattle, United States on Sunday.

It was the 21-year-old's 14th cap but his first since November 2006.

Peters, who was recommended to Ipswich by former Canadian international Frank Yallop, finished last season on loan at League One side Yeovil Town.

Diego, Fabiano and Robinho scored for Brazil with Rob Friend and Julian de Guzman twice levelling for Canada.

Canada's next game is against Panama in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday.
