Ipswich Town will not be offering defender Sito Castro a new contract when his existing deal ends next month.
Manager Jim Magilton is inviting offers for midfielders Gavin Williams and Gary Roberts, defenders Dan Harding and Matt Richards and striker Billy Clarke.
Magilton told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I would not like to stand in the way of them playing first-team football.
"If I can't guarantee first-team football, I think it would be best for both parties if they moved on."
Magilton added that no firm bids had yet been received for any of his players, including midfielder Owen Garvan who is mulling over a new contract.
The Town boss is yet to speak to striker Dean Bowditch despite recent reports claiming he is to be released, and Magilton has revealed he would like to offer veteran defender Fabian Wilnis some role at the club although no special post will be created for him.
