Ipswich trialist Cesar Navas sustained a suspected cracked metatarsal in Tuesday night's friendly at Crawley.
The 27-year-old Malaga defender will have an X-ray to discover the extent of the injury.
Navas was forced to limp off during the second-half of the 5-1 win against the Blue Square Premier club.
"He was everything I expected at Crawley. He showed composure and I want to have another look at him," boss Jim Magilton told Ipswich's website.
