Ipswich Town captain Jim Magilton says he has no intention of retiring irrespective of whether he is given a new deal at Portman Road or not.
Magilton, 36, will be out of contract with Joe Royle's side in June.
"I'll carry on playing while I feel I have something to contribute to the team and the players around me," he told the club's website.
"Nothing will be finalised about me staying on at Ipswich until the end of the campaign."
