Ipswich manager Joe Royle was pleased with the contributions of new signings Kevin Horlock and Jason de Vos as they beat Peterborough 2-1 in a friendly.
"I thought the new players were both terrific. Kevin and Jason did exceptionally well for us in their first game," said Royle.
"The game was all about fitness for us and it was a good exercise," he told the club's official website.
The Tractor Boys' goals came courtesy of Pablo Counago and Ian Westlake.
