Brewster is approaching a Century of matches as Inverness boss
Inverness manager Craig Brewster says defender Phil McGuire could be back in action within a month.
McGuire was substituted during the 2-1 defeat by Celtic with an ankle injury, which at first looked serious.
"He could be anything from two to four weeks," Brewster told BBC Scotland. "Jamie Duff will start on Saturday."
Brewster may also call upon the services of defender David Proctor for this weekend's clash with Motherwell and Andrew Barrowman is also fit.
Proctor has been hampered by a persistent ankle problem, while injury prevented Barrowman facing Celtic at the weekend.
"David has not played a first-team match all season, so he's champing at the bit to get back in," said Brewster.
"I don't think he'll need a reserve match before I throw him in, but it certainly would help.
"I know he's going to be ready if called upon."
Saturday's home match against Well will mark Brewster's 100th game as Inverness manager, spread across two spells in the Highlands.
"It's amazing how quickly they come around," Brewster said.
"The club have done well over the years and it's up to me to keep demanding the work-rate in training from the players and taking that into games.
"The first time round, I was 14 months here and it just went from strength to strength.
"I came back and it was like I was never away and the guys and I settled right back into it very quickly. The guys have been great for me again."
I think there'll be goals because both teams will certainly go out and attack
Brewster on the visit of Motherwell
Motherwell recorded three wins out of three against Caley Thistle last season and Brewster is keen to redress the balance.
"It's up to us to try and reverse that," he added. "We're both on 10 points, so it's a big, big day for us.
"I think there'll be goals because both teams will certainly go out and attack and, with ourselves being the home side, we've got to use that advantage."
