Atiku goes on trial at Inverness

Inverness boss Craig Brewster is aiming to bolster his squad

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have taken Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Atiku on a week-long trial.

The 25-year-old has spent several seasons in Sweden, most recently with second division side IF Sylvia.

Capped once for the Black Stars, Atiku was a member of the Ghana side which lost the final of the 2001 World Youth Championship to Argentina.

Courted by Manchester United as a teenager, Atiku also had a loan spell in Israel with Hapoel Petativa.
