Christie seeking a cutting edge
Inverness caretaker manager Charlie Christie
Charlie Christie now needs points at Easter Road
Inverness Caledonian Thistle head coach Charlie Christie was delighted with his side's performance against SPL leaders Celtic, despite a 2-1 defeat.

"Celtic came out the blocks, but I thought we had weathered the storm before we lost a disappointing goal from a corner," he said.

"We played second fiddle but took the game to them in the second half.

"We were without Craig Dargo and, while we had chances, the only thing missing was a cutting edge in the box."

Christie had targetted points away from home against Celtic and Hibernian if his side were to retain hopes of finishing in the top six of the Scottish Premier League.

"We played a team that I thought could trouble Celtic and I think we achieved that," he said.

"But now we need to go to Easter Road on Saturday and get something out of that game."
