Mannone has made a total of eight appearances for Hull City
Hull City goalkeeper Vito Mannone could be out for up to one month with an upper thigh injury.
The Arsenal loanee, 23, only returned to the side in Saturday's 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest following two months on the sidelines with a thigh injury.
City boss Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Humberside: "He's going to be out for three to four weeks.
"It's a similar injury to the one he had before, not as serious as before but very frustrating for us."
On-loan Aston Villa keeper Brad Guzan will carry on in goal with Pearson adding: "The timescale is probably going to coincide with Brad's stay but we'll just have to monitor the situation and see how it goes.
"He's had such a steady build-up of getting back in the side, he's trained really well and it's frustrating for the lad."
The Italy Under-21 international initially signed on loan with the Championship club in October, making seven appearances before picking up a thigh injury in the 1-1 draw with Reading on 28 December.
