Hull City replace Vito Mannone with Villa's Brad Guzan
Guzan has not started a Premier League match for Aston Villa
Hull City have signed Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan on loan after Vito Mannone returned to Arsenal with a thigh injury.
Mannone, 22, suffered the injury in the 1-1 draw with Reading on 28 January.
The Italy Under-21 international's loan with the Tigers was due to expire in January but Hull had been hopeful of extending his stay.
Now City manager Nigel Pearson has finalised a one-month deal for United States international Guzan, 26.
Guzan, who has 19 caps, moved to Villa Park from Chivas USA in July 2008, but despite several impressive displays in Europe and the Carling Cup, including saving four penalties against Sunderland, he has not been able to displace his compatriot Brad Friedel at Villa Park.
