Dawson covets more clean sheets

Hull City defender Andy Dawson believes his side needs to build on their goalless draw at home to Portsmouth.

The Tigers are 18th after the draw and still have the worst goal difference in the Premier League.

"We do need to start to keep clean sheets because that's the only way we're going to win games," Dawson told BBC Radio Humberside.

"We know we've got to play better and create more chances and we know we've got to improve."

"Obviously we'd like to play flowing football and create chance after chance but the position we're in and the way we are feeling - that wasn't to be and we're in the Premier League and there's no easy games in the Premier League."
