Hull have signed Stoke defender Ibrahima Sonko on a season-long loan.
The 28-year-old Senegal international made 14 Premier League appearances last season for the Potters after joining them from Reading in August 2008.
He becomes Hull's sixth signing of the transfer window and provides cover in defence following the departure of Michael Turner to Sunderland.
"Ibrahima needs to play first team football but we have defensive options," said Stoke boss Tony Pulis.
Sonko has played only once for Stoke this season, in the Carling Cup tie with Leyton Orient last week, and his chances of playing were further reduced by the arrival of defenders Robert Huth and Danny Collins at the Britannia Stadium.
