Turner is Hull's joint third top goalscorer this season
Hull City are in talks with defender Michael Turner about a new deal.
The centre-back, 25, is City's current player of the season and has scored three goals in 17 Premier League games.
Tigers manager Phil Brown told BBC Radio Humberside: "I've already had two meetings with his agent. We're very close to a new deal.
"He's a contracted player at this club for another two-and-a-half years so an extension would be fitting reward for what he's done so far."
Turner has been linked to other clubs following an impressive start to his top-flight career, but Hull say he is not for sale and they have not received any enquiries.
