Cousin scored 11 goals in 28 appearances for Rangers last season
Hull City striker Daniel Cousin believes the Tigers are good enough to stay in the Premier League.
"In this division there are good times and bad times," said Cousin. "But I've every confidence Hull will stay up and finish reasonably high."
Cousin, 31, opted not to play for Gabon during this week's international break, staying in Hull to train with the club.
The August deadline signing, who scored his first goal in the win at Arsenal, has hit two in Hull's last three games.
Cousin, who scored for Rangers against Celtic, got sent off then headed off to sign for Hull all on the same day back on 31 August, has now scored three times for the Tigers.
Cousin also scored at Old Trafford in the 4-3 defeat to Manchester United and again in last week's 2-2 home draw with Manchester City.
That helped earn the Tigers their first point in four games. And Cousin is expected to keep his place for Saturday's trip to Portsmouth (1500 GMT).
