Tigers stars back anti-bully call

Dean Marney
Marney has put his support behind an anti-bullying campaign

A number of Hull stars have put their names to an anti-bullying campaign being run by an East Yorkshire school.

Midfield Dean Marney and defender Paul McShane took questions from pupils of Longcroft School in Beverley.

Team-mates Michael Turner and Bryan Hughes have appeared in the school's anti-bullying DVD.

Marney told BBC Look North: "A few people are saying that with lads being in the DVD it might make people take a bit more notice."

Marney shared his thoughts on Hull City with the pupils and looked forward to the next game against Manchester City on Sunday.

He said: "It'll be a tough game, they've some quality players. They had a couple sent off in the last game so hopefully that will help us."
