Hull City hit the road to Wembley

Dean Windass is Hull's new blond bombshell

Hull City boss Phil Brown declared that he was "fantastic" as he boarded the team bus setting off for Wembley.

The Tigers will make their bow at the stadium in Saturday's Championship play-off final against Bristol City.

Star striker Dean Windass defied his 39 years as he sported a brand new bleached-blond haircut claiming it was for his forthcoming holiday.

He told BBC Look North: "It will be difficult for me as I'm a supporter and a player, lets hope I can contribute."

Hull are bidding to reach the top flight of English football for the first time in their 104-year history.

The last time they came so close was in 1910 when they finished third in Division Two and missed out on promotion to Oldham Athletic on goal average.

Phil Brown was able to take his entire first-choice team down to Wembley including Wayne Brown, who missed training on Tuesday with a calf strain.
