Taylor interested in Cort
Hull boss Peter Taylor
Taylor sets his sights on Cort
Hull City manager Peter Taylor says he intends to talk to Southend United defender Leon Cort about a possible move to the newly promoted Tigers.

The former Shrimpers boss has voiced his interest in both Cort and Southend captain Kevin Maher.

Taylor told BBC Essex: "I have spoken to his agent but I haven't spoken to the player. Leon's out of contract.

"He's a very tall centre half that can get better on the ball so he's somebody that I'm definitely interested in."

He added: "He's a player that I really have liked and I think there's a lot more to come from him.

"I'm hopeful that when he gets back from holiday I'll be in a position to talk to him."
