Hull land Appleby
Hull City have made Kidderminster midfielder Richie Appleby their third signing of the summer.

Appleby moves to Hull on a three-year deal and will join up with his new team-mates at the start of July.

The 26-year-old had been tracked by Hull manager Jan Molby, who worked with him at Kidderminster, for some time.

Hull assistant Gary Barnett said: "Richie will bring a lot of bravery to the side.

"He makes others around him play and gets things ticking simply because he demands the ball a lot.

"Hopefully we will see the best of Richie at Hull City because he hasn't yet fully reached his potential.

"He's looking forward to turning out in front of large crowds week in, week out.

"He'll certainly be doing that at Hull City and wants to produce the goods consistently on that kind of stage."

Former Motherwell skipper Greg Strong and Newcastle United starlet Stuart Green, who is on a one-season loan, are Hull's other close-season signings.
