Tigers snap up Beresford
Beresford can play on either flank
Hull City have completed their 10th close season signing by snapping up David Beresford on a free transfer from Huddersfield Town.
The 24-year-old winger, who cost the Terriers £350,000 from Oldham four years ago, has signed a three-year contract and can play on either flank. The Tigers, who lost in the play-off semi-finals last season, have been busy strengthening their squad as they prepare to launch another assault on promotion. They recently signed Leicester City striker Lawrie Dudfield for a club record £250,000 and paid Chesterfield £150,000 for midfielder Ryan Williams.
