Hull count cost of FA Cup exit
![]() Hull lose chance of FA Cup pay-day
Hull City chairman Nick Buchanan has shown his disappointment at his side's embarrassing FA Cup exit at the hands of Conference side Kettering.
Hull have endured troubled financial times recently and Buchanan was hoping that a FA Cup run would earn the club some much-needed money. But they were held to a draw at Kettering and then beaten at home. Buchanan said: "I'm distraught and confused as to how we couldn't beat Kettering over two ties. "I know our fans will be disappointed and I can assure you that I feel every bit as bad. It's a dreadful result for us and it doesn't help us financially."
