Huddersfield keeper Gray retires
Ian Gray
Gray has been plagued by injury since joining the Terriers
Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Ian Gray's football career is over, reports BBC Radio Leeds.

The 29-year-old keeper has decided to retire from the game and his contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

Gray made 35 starts for Town, but has been forced to retire after being plagued with injury since arriving from Rotherham in the summer of 2003.

A hand injury in last season's FA Cup defeat at Accrington Stanley has ultimately resulted in him quitting.

Gray, whose contract at The Galpharm Satdium was due to expire at the end of the season , has also been hampered this season by a groin problem.
