Histon back on track says keeper

Histon goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt insists the club is on the up again after a period of upheaval.

The Stutes saw a large turnover of players during the summer and have changed assistant manager with Alan Lewer replacing John Beck.

There has also been a shift in their playing style with a new formation.

Naisbitt told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Hopefully we're sorted now. We're not far off the play-offs so we can be up there again at the end of the season."

He added: "You can cope with one thing happening, but with three major changes it was bound to take time."

Boss Steve Fallon's search for a winning formula was disrupted when assistant manager John Beck stepped down from first team duties.

Former Weymouth coach Alan Lewer arrived as temporary cover and results have improved in recent weeks.

"We know what the Conference is all about now and consistency is the key as anybody can beat anybody on their day," said Naisbitt.
