Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen says Bruce Rioch would have no shortage of clubs looking to employ him should he wish to return to British football.
Rioch steered Aalborg to a 0-0 draw with Celtic in the Champions League.
And Paatelainen, who played under Rioch at Bolton 12 years ago and rates him a brilliant coach, said: "He has done well at the clubs he has been to.
"I am sure that one day he will come back to Britain and there will be plenty of takers."
Rioch, the former Scotland captain, has yet to manager a club in his homeland and has not managed in Britian since 2001.
The 61-year-old former Arsenal and Middlesbrough manager, who previously led Odense into Europe, took charge of Aalborg during the summer.
While they have struggled domestically this season, they have qualified for the group stages for the second time in their history.
And, on Wednesday, they surprised many by drawing their first game in Group E with the Scottish champions in Glasgow.
